The 42nd session of the World Heritage Committee for UNESCO took place in Bahrain from 24th June to 4th July at Ritz Carlton Bahrain. The aim of the committee is to identify cultural and natural properties of outstanding universal value which are to be protected under the convention, and to inscribe those properties on the World Heritage List. This year, there were 20 newly inscribed properties which are cultural, natural and mixed destinations from around the world.
Brief
As one of the leading providers of tent and marquees solution in the Middle East, we were appointed to install several tent structures from our stock of tents and marquees to host the committee. The total area to be covered was a whopping 8200sqm.
Solution
From our range of 2-slope tents to our Arcum tents, and marquees, we were able to successfully cover the required 8200sqm. Additionally, we provided the interior fit-out of all the tents.
The huge project required the involvement from over 300 of our team spread across the 2-months of installation. We also provided the full spectrum of project management services from planning the work flow to controlling and execution within the given time constraints.
We were extremely proud and honoured to be part of such a profound event.
