Chopard at Dubai Watch Week 2019

Brief

Alvia, an events design consultancy, commissioned us to build an exclusive setting for luxury Swiss manufacturer and retailer Chopard. Our task was to construct the 485 square meters stand, including a custom-made supporting platform, and bespoke steel structure, roof, walls, and front façade and interior fit-out.

Solution

Our team managed the project from A to Z, including project implementation and schedules, assuring on-time delivery, installation, and dismantling.

Creating the steel structure was complex. It had to be positioned above the water basin in DIFC’s fountain area. Structural calculations were run to ensure safety, stability and 100% waterproofness. The basin had to be cleared out for construction and then it had to be refilled once work was completed.

We were also responsible for the interior fit-out including lighting, graphics, carpeting, exhibition stands, display units, and counters and rental furniture. All specialized items were produced in our in-house production facilities ensuring high quality. Constant contact was maintained with the client to provide updates on progress and to ensure alignment.
