ATAYA Abu Dhabi’s Iconic Charity Exhibit

At ELECTRA, we take immense pride in our role as the main contractor for the ATAYA charity exhibition over the past 10 editions. Organized by Emirates Red Crescent, the exhibition has become a landmark of Abu Dhabi’s cultural calendar, and ELECTRA has been consistently supporting the exhibition in its vision through its role as a main contractor, transforming spaces into captivating environments that leave a lasting impression on visitors and exhibitors alike.
ATAYA, meaning “giving” in Arabic, is a prestigious exhibition that showcases an array of exquisite fashion wear, jewellery, home accessories, and furniture from talented designers and artists across the UAE. Under the esteemed patronage and visionary leadership of H.H. Sheikha Shamsa Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, the exhibition’s primary purpose is to raise funds for charitable establishments.
For this year’s edition, we had the honour of supplying custom-made exhibition spaces and décor elements that spanned an expansive 2000sqm exhibition area. With nearly 100 local exhibitors participating, we meticulously crafted full stand productions, providing everything from walling and carpeting to furniture rental, ensuring each exhibitor had an exceptional showcase for their products.
To enhance the ambiance and create a visually stunning experience, our team designed and produced various elements. We adorned the entrance and common areas with 30 meticulously crafted banners, strategically placed 8 wooden features around venue pillars, and introduced 11 custom-made wooden carts. Adding a touch of elegance, we incorporated beautifully crafted mashrabiya panels into the overall design.
At ELECTRA, we are committed to sustainability and minimizing our environmental impact. In line with our resource recovery goal, we prioritize refurbishing pieces from previous ATAYA editions whenever possible. Any new productions are carefully considered and kept for future use or repurposed by our dedicated in-house factory team, further reducing waste.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the ATAYA and Emirates Red Crescent teams for their enduring collaboration throughout the years. Together, we have created successful editions of this remarkable exhibition, making a significant contribution to charitable causes. We look forward to future successful editions.
