Airbus at Dubai Airshow 2019

The Dubai Airshow is one of the world’s most important trade events focusing on the aviation industry. The 2019 edition, 17^th-21^st November, expanded on the event’s history of success with nearly 1.3 thousand exhibitors, 100 thousand visitors, 161 aircrafts on display and a busy agenda of conferences and keynotes. The event generated nearly $55 billion in sales.

Brief

Airbus is one of the global leaders in aeronautics, space and related service. Our client, FG Design, appointed Electra to bring to life Airbus stand and pavilion fulfilling the specific and detailed design requirements. This included setting up the dedicated hospitality, VIP press and meeting rooms as well as a relaxing outdoor lounge area and a club restaurant.

Solution

As with all our projects, we ensured consistent alignment with the client by maintaining a constant flow of communication. We custom built the stand and pavilion, handling construction, assembly and fit out from A to Z. Using the best quality materials, including fabric, carpentry and wallpaper, we created an outdoor lounge, an indoor VIP section, with 4 VIP lounges and 4 VIP meeting rooms, a club restaurant and special press and meeting areas. Lighting, graphics and décor, including selected pieces from our rental collection enhanced Airbus’ “Future of Flight” theme, expressing a sleek but approachable modernity.
