Downtown Design, Dubai 2025
At the 2025 editions of Downtown Design and Editions Art and Design, ELECTRA delivered another large-scale, meticulously executed exhibition setup in the heart of Dubai Design District (d3), reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for complex, design-led events.
A centrepiece of the project was The Cube, Electra’s award-winning tent structure, constructed across an expansive 170 × 80 meters. Alongside it, a polygonal tent completed the layout, together creating 13,600 sqm of exhibition space. Within this footprint, Electra delivered 23 custom-built stands for leading international and regional brands, including Sobha Furniture, Buccellati, Lal & Ghosn, Stellar Works, Designed in Saudi, Venini, Lasvit, and others.
In addition to bespoke builds, the scope included the delivery of 12 package stands, 28 Editions stands, and the complete execution of common areas across the site. Among these, The Forum emerged as a landmark centrepiece – designed and built to host talks, discussions, and gatherings, anchoring the visitor experience.
Sustainability was embedded throughout the project. The tent structures operated using solar and battery-powered solutions, significantly reducing energy impact. A comprehensive waste management strategy was implemented in collaboration with Dubai Municipality and Green Earth, including waste segregation for wood, general waste, and other materials to support responsible disposal and recycling.
Downtown Design 2025 marked a landmark edition, bringing together over 330 brands from more than 35 countries and creating a platform for meaningful industry connections at scale. ELECTRA’s involvement ensured seamless execution, precise coordination, and high-standard exhibition management, supporting an environment where regional and global design leaders could showcase, connect, and collaborate with confidence.
