AutoCad Technical Designer – Freelance

Description
Under the guidance of the Head of Design and On site PM, the Technical Designer will ensure Drawings and Project’s details deliverables are aligned to client expectations and executed within budget and timescales. The Technical Designer will also Assist the other team members with his knowledge and by providing them development feedback.
Main Accountabilities:
- Following specifications and architecture drawings to create various shop drawings.
- Candidates will be required to work on-site in Abu Dhabi.
- Liaise with Project Managers to gather product and structural requirements and designs.
- Highly proficient in Autocad
- Proven work experience as an interior fit-out draftsman.
- Advanced museum steel structure and showcases knowledge.
- Prepare a full drawings package including but not limited to : Joinery drawings , As built, RCP , coordinate between different suppliers drawings.
- To ensure all modeling activities are performed per company procedure & process.
- Organized and can track and document project phases and revisions.
- Help to create As-built drawings on site
- Adhere to site condition and HSE policy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fit-out shop drawings, retail architecture
- Bachelor’s degree or high diploma from a reputable art college, Architecture, or interior design
- Knowledge in shop drawings, joinery, steel structure, museography
- Architecture, fitout interior design, or retail desing certification
- Highly proficient in Autocad
- Knowledgeable of fabrications methods, carpentry, Steel, CNC, Design ergonomics, Retail fit out
- Be a team player, accountable and actively participate in brainstorming sessions, and be keen to contribute ideas.
- Ability to handle projects high detailed fabrication drawings.
