Project Manager

Reporting to: Head of Project Management
Territory: UAE – GCC

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic and talented team in Dubai.

 

Responsibilities

General:

  • Working in line with the company direction, standards and to the best of their ability

 

Client side:

  • Work on multiple projects
  • Provide client, event department and design team with technical solutions for the preparation of the project
  • Deal with client requests in the most efficient & cost-effective way to the advantage of the company

 

Internal:

  • Assist the event department in defining project production cost (liaise with all departments) including contractors or costing directly to the client if applicable
  • Respect the production budget in all concerned departments
  • Ensure that the production file (preparation, production, installation and dismantling) is complete for review by all departments and liaise with event department and/or operations if not
  • Define with all departments & contractors the project planning (from production to dismantling)
  • Ensure that each department has the relevant information to produce the project
  • Ensure that all departments have relevant site information to ensure smooth delivery of the project including but not limited to access, working hours, staff lists, amenities and emergency information
  • Ensure that the necessary services to deliver the project have been ordered (power, water, cleaning etc.)
  • Organise the preparation and collation of a project specific Health and Safety pack. To include at a minimum; method statements, risk assessments and insurances (it is the responsibility of the Project Manager to prepare the method statement)
  • Coordinate of all departments & contractors for onsite project work
  • Liaise with event department to inform of any challenges faced and regular update of production budgets

 

Delivery:

  • Manage all departments & contractor’s behaviour on site
  • Ensure that the project is delivered, according to planning and with the quality expected
  • Supervise and coordinate operations on site to ensure project objectives are met

 

Finalisation:

  • Report to the Head of Project Management by way of the post action report.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the Events & Exhibitions Industry
  • Good communication skills
  • Good technical skills
