Business Development Manager – UAE – GCC (F/M)

Reporting to: Head of Business Development – UAE – GCC Market
Territory: UAE - GCC


At Electra, we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious contracting partner for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.

Under the guidance of the Head of Business Development, the Business Development Manager will be requested to develop new clients within the scope given by offering all solutions the organisation have.


Main Accountabilities

  • Prospect and research new clients
  • Develop new clients
  • Develop existing clients with growth potential
  • Achieve sales targets provided by management
  • Identify potential future projects
  • Prepare proposals with individual solutions for the clients
  • Cross-sell all of Electra’s solutions
  • Deal with client requests in the most efficient and cost-effective way to the advantage of the company
  • Show walk to identify new clients
  • Share leads and opportunities with other sales functions (e.g. Other team members in charge, international markets etc.)
  • Ensure proper handover to an account manager of recurring account when necessary
  • Issue weekly reporting in compliance with management requirement
  • Use the ERP – CRM efficiently – make sure database is up to date on a weekly basis
  • Work with other departments to meet customers need
  • Analyse market, competition and report accordingly
  • Work proactively with the marketing department
  • Follow the values of the company
  • Able to present Electra and its solutions effectively


Knowledge & experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience
  • UAE and GCC Market knowledge
  • Events industry knowledge
  • Analytical and negotiation skills
